Freda M. Taibi, age 75, passed away Aug. 25, 1999. Survived by her husband,John Taibi, and her children, Carl (Vonnie) Taibi, and Tony (Shari) Taibi, allof Pueblo, Colo., Chuck (Ann) Taibi, Englewood, Colo., JoAnn (Mike) Badovinac and Joe (Tamara) Taibi, all of Pueblo, Colo. Grandmother of Brandon, Sean andNick, Justin, Sam and Matt, John and Tara. Great-grandmother of Brendon. Alsosurvived by Patty (Larry) Williams of Kansas City, Mo., and their children.Mrs. Taibi is also survived by brother, Donald (Bessie) Kelly, Richmond, Mo.-sisters, Dorothy (Millard) Adams, Richmond, Mo., and Helen (Pete) Buffo, ElCajon, Calif.- as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Taibi's greatestjoy was being with her family. She was a member of Christ the King Church.Funeral Mass, Sunday, 6 p.m., Christ the King Church. Prayer service, Monday,10:30 a.m., Christ the King Church, followed by interment, Roselawn Cemetery.Viewing at George McCarthy Funeral Home, Saturday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., andSunday, noon to 5 p.m.






John A. Taibi - December 11, 1999


John A. Taibi, 74, passed away Dec. 9, 1999. Preceded in death by his devoted wife, Freda, on Aug. 25, 1999. He was also preceded in death by eight brothers and one sister. Survived by children, Carl (Vonnie) Taibi, Tony (Shari) Taibi, all of Pueblo, Chuck (Ann) Taibi, Englewood, JoAnn (Mike) Badovinac and Joe (Tamara) Taibi, all of Pueblo. Grandfather of Brandon, Sean, Nick, Justin, Sam, Matt, John and Tara. Great-grandfather of Brendon. Also survived by sisters, Pauline Taibi, Kansas City, Mo., and Mary Lou Pavarini, Greenwich, Conn., as well as numerous nieces and nephews. John moved to Pueblo from Kansas City in 1949. He owned and operated the Rainbow Bar for the past 50 years. Funeral Mass, Monday, 7 p.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church. The family will receive friends in the church hall following the Monday night service. Prayer service, Tuesday, 10 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church followed by interment, Roselawn Cemetery. Viewing at George McCarthy Funeral Home on Sunday, noon to 5 p.m., and Monday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
